The first step on your incredible excursion is the Necropolis of Giza, where you can delight your eyes with the view of the three great pyramids in Egypt. It is also so important to know that the ancient Egyptians are believed to have used innovative methods to build the pyramids, relying on a sand road on which pieces of stone were placed on wooden skis, with rounded palm tree trunks underneath serving as wheels. These sleds were pulled by ropes and oxen, with water sprinkled on the sand to facilitate the pulling. As the height of the structure increased, the amount of sand used increased until the top of the pyramid was reached. The pyramid is then covered with smooth limestone from the top to the base as the sand is removed.

It is located a few kilometers west of Cairo, near the pyramids of Giza. It is being built to be the largest antiquities museum in the world, with capacity for 5 million visitors annually. In addition to commercial and recreational service buildings, a restoration center and a museum garden are to be planted with trees already known to the ancient Egyptians. Egypt has launched a campaign to finance the project, with Japan's JICA providing soft loans. The museum will house more than 100,000 objects from the Pharaonic, Greek, and Roman eras.
