Firstly, you will visit the Saqqara Necropolis sightseeing, see the Step Pyramid complex of King Djoser, the tombs of the nobles, and enter the Pyramid of King Teti.
Who is King Djoser? Djoser is an Egyptian Pharaoh who ruled from Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, and his reign marked a big jump in architecture, art, and centralized government. He is famous for constructing the Step Pyramid of Saqqara, which stands as one of the earliest colossal stone buildings worldwide and the first pyramid ever built in Egypt.
After that, move to the ancient city of Memphis. Memphis was the center of power during the Old Kingdom, where Egypt’s early kings ruled and planned their grand pyramid tombs at nearby Saqqara and Giza. Memphis was the first capital of ancient Egypt, founded around 3100 BCE by King Narmer, who reunited Upper and Lower Egypt.
Then, we will head to the Pyramids of Giza to begin a fantastic tour and explore the three pyramids. They were built by the kings of the Fourth Dynasty: Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. The Giza Pyramids are among the most iconic and majestic monuments in the world, located on the Giza Plateau just outside Cairo, Egypt. Built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom (around 2600–2500 BCE). Experience an optional camel ride at the Giza Pyramids, and capture stunning photos of the scenery and yourselves. Also, see the Great Sphinx of Chephren, the massive monument of a man-headed lion, and enter the Valley Temple, and learn about the different phases of the mummification process.
