5 Days Tour To Cairo and Alexandria During Easter

After having your delicious breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, you will meet your tour guide to start your day.

First, you will see the Great Pyramid of king Cheops -the only remaining monument of the seven ancient wondersof the world, still standing since 2500 B.C. now. You will also vis the pyramid of Chephren - built by King Chephren from the 4th dynasty the son of King Cheops,and the pyramid of Mycerinus.You will also visit the Valley Temple.

After having lunch at a local restaurant on the way to Saqqara, you will visit the Stepped Pyramid Complex. Then, you will be going to Memphis. Memphis was founded about 3,200 years ago by King Narmer. It was the capital of Egypt during the old kingdom and it is still a important city today. You will visit an open-air museum to see many famous monuments, including two statues of King Ramses II and a statue of the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis.

Pompey’s Pillar
Travel to Alexandria to experience the single pillar which survived from Serapeum Temple during its dedication to Serapis the Greco-Egyptian deity. The 26.85-meter (88-foot) tall red granite column that people previously attributed to Pompey in reality was built to honor Emperor Diocletian in the 3rd century A.D.

Citadel of Qaitbay
Travelers can explore this 15th-century palace on the ancient ruins of the Lighthouse of Alexandria that was among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
