Once you arrive at the hotel, our representative will assist with your check-in and go over your Egypt Easter Tours itinerary, confirming the pick-up times for each day’s tour. You will also be welcomed with a refreshing drink.

Enjoy your overnight stay in Cairo.

After enjoying your breakfast, you'll meet your dedicated tour guide to begin your Egypt Easter adventure.

Your day starts with a transfer to the Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. This remarkable structure is made of over 2.6 million stone blocks, each weighing around 50 tons. King Cheops, the son of King Sneferu, was one of Egypt’s most renowned rulers and the second king of the Fourth Dynasty. His fame remains unmatched to this day.

Next, you will visit the middle pyramid of King Chephren, who, while aiming to surpass his father's pyramid, chose to build a slightly smaller pyramid on a higher plateau, making it appear larger than the Great Pyramid. The third pyramid, that of Mycerinus, is the smallest of the trio.

You will also explore the Great Sphinx, an iconic limestone statue with the body of a lion and the head of a human, built by King Chephren to guard the pyramids from grave robbers, symbolizing divine protection.

Then, you'll visit the Valley Temple, the mortuary temple of King Chephren.

A delicious lunch will be served at a well-regarded local restaurant before continuing to downtown Cairo.

Afterwards, you'll visit The Egyptian Museum, home to over 120,000 artifacts, including the treasures of King Tutankhamun, one of the most famous archaeological finds in history.

Your guide will then take you through Coptic Cairo, where you'll see the Hanging Church, the oldest and most famous church in the area. Built atop a Roman fortress, it gets its name from its position on the southern wall.

You'll also visit St. Sergius Church, believed to be a place of refuge for the Holy Family during their flight from King Herod’s soldiers.

Next, you’ll visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue, a historic site where it’s believed the baby Moses was discovered in a basket.

Your tour continues with a visit to Islamic Cairo, where you'll explore the bustling Khan El Khalili market, Egypt’s oldest and most famous bazaar, known for its authentic Egyptian souvenirs.

You can enjoy a traditional tea break at El Fishawy Cafe, one of the renowned coffee shops in the heart of the El-Hussein area.

Finally, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel to relax after an enriching day.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After checking out of the Cairo Pyramids Hotel, you will embark on the flight to Luxor at Cairo International Airport. Your arrival at Luxor Airport will welcome you with an agent from Cairo Top Tours who will provide supportive transportation. After checking in, you will begin your adventure on the 5-star MS Royal Viking Nile Cruise. The East Bank tour starts after you finish lunch on the cruise ship as you explore Karnak Temple, which stands as the world's biggest human-built temple. Later during the night you will navigate to the nighttime-lit Temple of Luxor. Spend your lunch period while enjoying time on board the cruise.

Start your day with breakfast aboard the Nile Cruise. Then, you'll visit the well-preserved Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus, from the Ptolemaic era.

Next, you'll sail to Kom Ombo, where you'll explore the fascinating Temple of Kom Ombo. This temple follows a traditional design, featuring an entrance pylon, forecourt, hypostyle hall, and surrounding chambers that lead to the sanctuary. A unique division down the middle of the temple separates two sanctuaries—one dedicated to Horus and the other to Sobek.

Afterward, enjoy a delicious lunch on board, and then you'll continue your journey toward Aswan.

End the day with a lovely dinner and overnight stay on the Nile cruise.

After enjoying your breakfast on the Nile cruise, your Egyptologist guide will take you on a tour to visit the remarkable High Dam. Constructed between 1960 and 1971 under the leadership of President Nasser, this dam has played a vital role in controlling floods, generating electricity, and storing water for future use.

Next, you'll explore the stunning Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Originally located on Philae Island, the temple was relocated to Agilika Island after the construction of the High Dam submerged its original site.

Your tour continues with a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk, the largest obelisk ever attempted by the ancient Egyptians. Located in the granite quarries of Aswan, this massive monument was abandoned during Queen Hatshepsut’s reign, leaving it half-carved in solid rock.

Afterward, you'll return to the cruise for dinner.

You will stop by your Nile cruise's office after breakfast to receive the scheduled airport transfer to Aswan for your flight that concludes with your return to Cairo.
