After a quick overview of the tour programme, our adventure will begin by heading towards one of Egypt's greatest archaeological sites: Saqqara, an open-air museum that tells the story of the early beginnings of Pharaonic civilisation.
The beginning of our adventure will be at the Step Pyramid of Djoser, which is the oldest monumental stone structure in the world, designed by the genius architect “Imhotep” for King Djoser in the Third Dynasty, and there you will stand in front of the pyramid to see how the idea of the pyramids began as a great architectural experiment, as well as wander through the surrounding funerary complex, where the halls and ornate courtyards will make you feel as if you have returned thousands of years back in time, in addition to our guide will reveal the secrets of its design and the stories of the kings who inspired the next generations of pyramid builders.
