The bus station is on the outskirts of the town on Freedom Road. You will require a taxi to get there, though many hotels do have shuttle buses that can do this.
Bring whatever you want and gather everything you might require. We advise keeping a backpack on you at all times. Make sure to bring a lot of water with you on your tours if you visit Egypt in the summer to prevent dehydration as the weather heats up.
