Itinerary

First, after having your delicious breakfast at your hotel, our representative will meet you with a driver and an air-conditioned vehicle. You will be taken from your hotel in Cairo for a day tour to Fayoum.

Our first stop is the Lahoun Pyramid. It is located in Fayoum with a length of 48 meters. The Lahun Pyramid is the pyramid of Pharaoh Senusret II (also known as Sesostris II), a ruler of Egypt’s 12th Dynasty during the Middle Kingdom (around 1897–1878 BC). It is located near the modern village of El-Lahun, on the edge of the Fayoum Oasis, about 100 kilometres southwest of Cairo.

Then, we will head to the Hawara pyramid. The Hawara Pyramid was built by Pharaoh Amenemhat III, one of the most powerful rulers of Egypt’s 12th Dynasty (around 1850 BC). It is located near the modern village of Hawara, south of the Fayoum Oasis, about 100 kilometres southwest of Cairo.

After that, we will head to visit the Kom Oshim museum. The museum was established in 1974 to preserve and showcase artifacts discovered during excavations in the Fayoum Oasis, one of Egypt’s most historically rich regions that has been inhabited since prehistoric times. It offers visitors a clear picture of life in the region from the Pharaonic, Greco-Roman, and Coptic periods up to the Islamic era. Then, you will have your tasty lunch in a good local restaurant. After that, have a felucca ride on the Great Nile River and enjoy the natural scenery.

Finally, you will be taken to the drop-off location.
