The pyramid design is thought to lessen oxidation. In the 1950s, Czech inventor Karel Drbal asserted that razor blades stored inside a cardboard pyramid would sharpen instead of rust. Saqqara:
Saqqara is an ancient necropolis located south of Cairo.  The Step Pyramid of Djoser, Egypt's oldest pyramid, which was built between 2667 and 2648 BCE, is its most famous component.  It contains a number of tunnels, temples, and underground chambers and has been used as a burial ground for thousands of years.  The first architect and physician in history, Imhotep, is credited with creating the Step Pyramid. 

Old Cairo:
You will see both Christian and Islamic sites in Cairo, including the Hanging Church and the Amr ibn Al-'Ass Mosque. Many of our shore excursions from Sokhna Port include visits to these historical and cultural attractions.

For almost six centuries, trade, culture, and mysticism have all thrived together in Egypt's most popular marketplace, Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

Al Muizz Street:
Al-Muizz Street, known as the world's largest open museum of Islamic antiquities, features numerous historic mosques, schools, fountains, palaces, two agencies, three corners, two gates, and two restrooms, along with an archaeological treasure. One of the most interesting stops on any day trip from Ain Sokhna Port to Egypt is to see this street.

Following that, you will be taken to enjoy a delicious meal on a Nile boat while taking in the performances in the middle of the great Nile. This is the ideal way to finish off a full-day shore tour in Egypt.
