After checking into your hotel, our English-speaking tour guide will take you on a tour of the West Bank, a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to many of Egypt’s most iconic landmarks.

First, visit the Tombs of the Nobles and the Valley of the Kings. You’ll also have the chance to see Al-Deir Al-Bahari Temple, located a little further from Luxor’s city center but well worth the visit. Here, you can admire statues of several pharaohs, including King Tutankhamun, who was famously found buried in his tomb. Next, explore the Temple of Ramesses II, which was constructed during the 19th dynasty. These temples are surrounded by a complex system of canals, which were once used for irrigation and transport.

Your tour will then continue with a visit to the Temple of Hatshepsut, built during the 18th dynasty and standing as one of Egypt’s earliest examples of female rulership.

Lastly, visit the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues erected by King Amenhotep III for his mortuary temple, later usurped by King Merenptah for his own.

After visiting these extraordinary sites, we’ll head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

In the morning, take a hot air balloon ride over Luxor Temple.

Next, it’s time to explore the East Bank of Luxor! Return to your hotel for breakfast before checking out and heading to the Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest religious sites in Egypt, with over 20 temples scattered across the vast area. Built by Pharaoh Amenhotep III, it was expanded by Ramses II and later restored by Alexander the Great during his conquest of Egypt. Your next stop is the Luxor Temple, built by Hatshepsut and dedicated to Amun-Ra.

After the tour, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel or taken to Luxor Airport to catch your flight home.
