Itinerary
Early in the morning, our tour guide will take you to explore the highlights of this ancient world. A private cooled car will take you to the west bank of the Nile, where you will visit the Valley of the Kings. This valley is split into eastern and western sides, and the eastern section is the most well-known because the western side does not have many tombs. This valley has over 60 known tombs, on top of 20 other grave sites that have gotten no further than being excavated.
You will then be taken to the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Deir el-Bahari. The guide will give you a fascinating account of why this temple was built and the role it played in her life alongside the other buildings in her unique Hatshepsut temple, which is multi-colored and was designed by the priests who aided her power grab.
Once you finish with Memnon, you will be taken to a nice restaurant for lunch so you can proceed with your trip on the East Bank, which is quite distinct from the West Bank of Luxor.
