The Pyramid of Khufu is the first place you will see when you take a private vehicle to the Pyramids of Giza. What is seen today is the underlying core structure. Around the base, some of the casing stones that formerly encased the structure are still visible.

There have been various scientific and alternative theories regarding the construction techniques of the Great Pyramid. Most accepted construction hypotheses are based on the idea that it was built by transporting massive stones from a quarry, dragging them, and lifting them into place.

It was built by Khufu's engineer, Hem-Inu. It is believed that when built, the Great Pyramid was approximately 146 meters high, but with erosion and the absence of its pyramidion, its current height is approximately 137 meters. Each side of the base was approximately 230 meters long. It was built on a roughly square plan, covering approximately 13 acres...After that, we will visit The Pyramid of Chephren is considered one of the most preserved and complete pyramid complexes of the Old Kingdom.

You will head to the Sphinx with your guide. It was a knoll of rock that had been left by the builders of the great pyramid when they were quarrying the stone for its interior core, It was fash-loned during the time of Chephren into a huge recumbent lion with a human head It was probably covered with a layer of plaster to help in its preservation.

You will ride for an hour on a quad bike around the pyramids before returning to your hotel.
