The results led him to rule out carving with traditional hammers and chisels, suggesting that another method had yet to be discovered. You will see the impressive alabaster Sphinx, which was carved over 3,000 years ago and was a symbol of the divine great power of King Ramses II.

You will visit the enchanting Saqqara necropolis, home to a large number of ancient Egypt's precious and great mummies, its distinguished tombs, and nearly ten pyramids. You'll see the famous Step Pyramid of Djoser, built on a high limestone plateau west of the Nile River. It was constructed using an innovative and unique hydraulic lifting system that relied on water flow to lift the stones used in the structure inside the pyramid.

Upon arrival at Luxor Airport, you will meet one of the best and most renowned tour guides in Luxor, who will introduce you to the history of many of Luxor's most beautiful archaeological sites.

The impressive Valley of the Kings is one of the most important and magnificent archaeological sites in the world, containing more than 63 charming royal and non-royal tombs. The most impressive burial chambers in the Valley of the Kings are those of Thutmose III and Thutmose IV, the famous Amenhotep II, King Ay, Horemheb, Ramesses I, Ramesses II the Great, Ramesses IV, Ramesses VI, Ramesses IX, Seti I, Seti II, and Merneptah.

You will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which continues to amaze us with its many impressive archaeological discoveries. A large section of the Ptolemaic necropolis was built over the ruins of the Valley Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, located in the beautiful Asasif area on Luxor's West Bank. Valuable bronze coins from the era of Ptolemy I were found in the excavated section, bearing images of the famous Alexander the Great, as well as terracotta heads of animals and human figures, such as a head of a beautiful woman in Greek costume resembling the heads of tangras, powerful winged scarabs, and parts of wooden coffins and sarcophagi. You will see the colossal Colossi of Memnon, each meticulously carved from a single, massive, solid stone. However, the Luxor area lacks this type of hard limestone, so it is believed that the stones were either brought overland from quarries north of the famous city of Memphis or from south of Aswan via the Nile. However, the weight of the two statues confirms that these enormous stones couldn't be transported by ship, and the source of the stones used to carve these two magnificent statues has not yet been confirmed.

We will pause briefly to enjoy a selection of delicious Egyptian dishes at a local restaurant, then continue this exceptional tour. You will visit the exemplary Luxor Temple, which was built by numerous great and powerful kings over the reigns of two entire dynasties. King Tutankhamun completed the intricate and perfect wall carvings of the temple, while the famous King Ramesses II rebuilt the massive triple chapel, which had previously been constructed during the important reigns of the most famous queen in Egypt, Hatshepsut, and the strong King Thutmose III and had been destroyed.

You will also visit the majestic Karnak Temple Complex, whose construction began during the Eleventh Dynasty and continued for over 2,000 years. Many great kings, such as Thutmose III, Seti I, Ramesses II, and others, contributed to the construction and expansion of this enormous complex. Among its most prominent components is the Great Hypostyle Hall, which houses 134 massive columns, a testament to the unique splendor of ancient Egyptian architecture.

You will see many of the rare artifacts housed in the museum, dating back to the famous Late Period, from the 26th to the 30th Dynasty. These artifacts were found at Tell Basta in Zagazig. This magnificent museum houses the largest collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities, housing more than 136,000 rare and magnificent pharaonic artifacts and hundreds of thousands of other artifacts in its storage.

You will visit the magnificent and imposing Salah El Din Citadel, which is located on the towering Mokattam Mountains. This unique location gave it significant defensive importance, as it dominated both the famous cities of Cairo and Fustat. This massive citadel formed a natural, high barrier between these two magnificent cities, thus serving as a vital link between the citadel and the city. In the event of a siege or attack, it would serve as a last resort and refuge if the city fell to the enemy.

You will also see the Mosque of Muhammad Ali al-Ma'arram, which is famous for its magnificent architecture. You will see the mosque's original pulpit, the large wooden pulpit decorated with intricate gilded ornamentation. The small marble pulpit, located to the left of the mihrab, was commissioned by the famous King Farouk in 1939. At either end of the mosque's western side are two graceful, towering, cylindrical minarets, also built in the style of Turkish minarets. Each tower rises 82 meters above the ground.

You will visit the magnificent Abu Serga Church, which houses many unparalleled archaeological treasures, including the marble oriental church, crafted by the master John the Armenian, as well as a valuable and ideal collection of precious and beautiful icons, manuscripts, and enchanting textiles. You will visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which has been used throughout history by most of the well-known Jewish sects in ancient Egypt. It was used by Iraqi Jews, including Karaites and Levantine Jews, as well as Ashkenazim and Sephardim. The Ben Ezra Synagogue became a synagogue for Rabbinic Jews after the distinguished Karaite Jewish sect, whose native language was Arabic, moved to Cairo during the Fatimid era.
