Overview

This tour consists of an overnight excursion from Luxor through Cairo and Alexandria, taking you through an adventure where vibrant modern life meets ancient history. Luxor, the nucleus of Pharaonic civilization, is where the tour begins as you smoothly go through the night to the capital of Egypt, Cairo. The next day, you will carry on with some scintillation as you ride to Alexandria, the Mediterranean jewel of Egypt. Here, you would study the city's Greco-Roman heritage, starting from the Qaitbay Citadel, located on the site of the mythical Lighthouse of Alexandria. A visit to the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina gives one a cue of the legacy of one of the ancient world's greatest libraries. You shall browse through the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a bizarre blend of Egyptian and Roman artistry, before heading for a walk on the lovely Corniche, where the sea breeze and waterfront scenery will be enough to complete an unforgettable experience.
