Itinerary

Cairo Top Tours guide will meet you in Luxor at your hotel, Luxor airport, or Luxor station to accompany you during your day tour in a private air-conditioned car. 

Your trip will begin in Luxor, formerly known as Thebes, the capital of Egypt during the Pharaonic era, located on the banks of the Nile River, which divides it into the Eastern and Western Mainland, We will start our trip by exploring the western mainland, where we can visit the Valley of the Kings, which was used for 500 years during the period between the sixteenth and eleventh centuries BC to build tombs for the pharaohs and nobles of the New Kingdom, which extended during the eras of the eighteenth to twentieth dynasties of ancient Egypt. 

ِAfter that we will explore the Temple of Hatshepsut, known as the Bahari Monastery is a group of pharaonic temples and tombs located on the west bank of the Nile opposite Luxor, Egypt. The monastery was built by Queen Hatshepsut to perform rituals that benefit her in the other world, while the name Al-Deir Al-Bahri is a modern Arabic name given to this area in the seventh century AD after the Copts used this temple as a monastery for them, and then we will continue our visit to the western land by visiting the two statues of Memnon, which are two huge statues, built around 1350 BC, which are all that remains of a temple built in memory of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who ruled Egypt during the Eighteenth Dynasty.

After that, we start another adventure on the east bank of Luxor where we can visit the Luxor Temple A large ancient Egyptian complex, it was founded in 1400 BC. The Luxor Temple was built to worship Amun-Ra, his wife Mut and his son Khonsu; gods that are also known as the Theban Trinity. The Luxor Temple was built during the 18th and 19th dynasties. 

We will conclude our trip with The temple of Karnak is given its name from the city of Karnak, which is a modern corruption of the Arabic word Khurnak, meaning fortified town, and which was used for many temples in the region during this period.

Finally, we will transfer you back to your hotel.
