On the morning of your second day, after a delicious breakfast at your hotel, one of our expert guides will be waiting for you to take you on an unforgettable tour to Mina or Memphis, which is not a pyramid but was the first capital of ancient Egypt in the early dynastic era around 3100 BC, and is older than the pyramids themselves. It was founded by King Mina (Narmer) after he united the northern and southern parts of Egypt and made it the centre of government, politics, and religion for long periods.

Today, Memphis is located in the Mit Rahina area of Giza and includes some amazing archaeological remains, the most famous of which are the following:

A huge statue of King Ramses II made of limestone, which surprises you with the accuracy of the sculpture and details.

The Alabaster Sphinx, which is one of the most magnificent statues that embody strength and beauty.

the remnants of historic temples and storage facilities devoted to the veneration of Ptah, the ancient Egyptian deity of arts and crafts.

Memphis today is an open museum that tells the story of the birth of Egyptian civilisation and gives you a glimpse of the greatness of architecture and art in that early era.

At last, we shall return you to your lodging.

Your journey will start from your hotel or accommodation in an air-conditioned private car driven by a professional driver, accompanied by a knowledgeable tour guide who will give you interesting information on the road, so that the excitement begins before you reach your destination. To the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, which will be a deep dive into the heart of human history, especially Egyptian history, which is one of the oldest and richest civilizations on earth.

As you enter the museum, you will see a modern architectural masterpiece with an elegant design that fuses modernity with the spirit of history, where wide facades and majestic gates welcome you to another world. The museum is located in the historic city of Fustat, the first Islamic capital of Egypt, which gives the place a double value that combines the ancient and the modern.

Your tour will begin in the main exhibition hall, which houses rare artifacts covering 7 historical periods: Prehistory, Pharaonic, Greco-Roman, Coptic, Islamic, Modern and Contemporary. Every corner of the hall is carefully designed to provide an immersive experience, with interactive displays and thoughtful lighting that emphasizes the beauty of each artifact.

And then comes the moment everyone has been waiting for: The Hall of Royal Mummies. The library houses millions of rare books and manuscripts, as well as art and science museums, exhibition halls, and astronomical observatories, making it a meeting place for culture, arts, and science in one place.

One of the most noticeable landmarks in Alexandria is Pompey's Pillar, which is composed of solid red granite and is roughly 26 meters tall.  Built in the third century AD in honor of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, it is the largest column of its kind still standing in the world. The column is surrounded by the ruins of the Temple of Serapis, allowing the visitor to travel back in time to the times of Roman power in Egypt.

Kom el-Shokafa:  These ancient tombs date back to the 2nd century AD and represent a unique blend of Pharaonic art and Greek and Roman motifs. Spanning three levels underground, the catacombs feature richly detailed burial halls, statues, and sculptures, making it a captivating journey of discovery into the world of ancient mythology.

Citadel of Qaitbay: Built in 1477 AD under the reign of Sultan Ashraf Qaitbay atop the remains of the famed Alexandria Lighthouse, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the castle is located on the tip of a sea tongue surrounded by the sea on three sides, giving it charming panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea. The castle was a strong defensive fortress that protected the city from invaders, and today it is one of the most beautiful and historic tourist attractions in Egypt.

Al-Mursi Abu al-Abbas Mosque: This mosque is one of the most magnificent and famous mosques in Alexandria, as it was built in 1775 over the tomb of Sheikh Al-Mursi Abu al-Abbas, one of the great scholars of Sufism in the thirteenth century. The mosque is characterized by a huge white dome, a towering minaret, and dazzling Islamic decorations that combine spiritual and artistic beauty. It is not only a place of prayer, but also a tourist destination that attracts visitors from around the world for its architectural splendor and spiritual atmosphere.

After that, we'll enjoy some delectable Egyptian food, including koshary, and take leisurely walks along the city's gorgeous beaches and waterfront promenades. The journey culminates with a stay at the opulent Paradise Inn Hotel.

On a sunny morning, we set off from Alexandria along the charming North Coast to the city of Alamein, accompanied by our expert guide in a private air-conditioned vehicle to this city that combines history with the splendor of the present. We start our tour by visiting the Alamein War Museum, which documents the famous Battle of Alamein during World War II, where we will see weapons, military equipment, and rare photos that tell the details of this historical epic.

We will then head to the Alamein Cemetery, which houses the remains of soldiers from different countries of the world, a moving testimony to their sacrifices and heroism, amidst a majestic architectural design that inspires contemplation and respect.

We will also enjoy a tour of Alamein's picturesque beaches with white sand and turquoise waters, where we will be able to take souvenir photos or enjoy relaxing moments in the Mediterranean atmosphere.

Finally, as the sun sets, you will begin your journey back to Cairo, carrying with you the memories of a special day that combined history, nature, and coastal beauty.
