Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Cairo Airport, a representative from Cairo Top Tours will be there to assist you with your luggage and guide you through the passport check process. Afterward, you'll be picked up by a private air-conditioned car and transported to your reserved 5-star hotel, where you can check in and unwind for the evening. Start your Egypt journey with ease and comfort with our exceptional service. 

On the second day of your tour, after enjoying a delicious breakfast, your Cairo Top Tours guide will take you to explore some of Egypt's most iconic tourist destinations, 

Begin the day by going to the Giza Pyramid Complex, which includes the Great Pyramid, the Great Sphinx of Giza, and the Valley Temple. The Great Pyramid, built over 4,000 years ago, is a world-renowned structure that held the record for the tallest structure for 3,800 years. 

The Great Sphinx also is a legendary animal that represents the strength and intelligence of King Khafre, and the Valley Temple is an exceptionally well-preserved archaeological site that sheds light on ancient Egyptian burial practices. 

After a taking lunch at a café with a view of the pyramids, your guide will take you to visit the Egyptian Museum before heading to the Khan El Khalili bazaar in Cairo's Old City, where you can explore gift shops, cafes, and shisha bars. Mosque of Amr Ibn Al Aas:

The Mosque that is considered to be the first mosque built in Africa; the Mosque of Amr Ibn Al Aas is a significant Islamic landmark in Cairo, Egypt. It was constructed in 641 AD by the Arab general Amr Ibn Al Aas, who conquered Egypt and founded the city of Fustat.

The Ben Ezra Temple:

One of the most visited Egyptian Jewish temples is The Ben Ezra Synagogue, also known as the Temple of El-Shamieen, which is a historic Jewish temple located in Cairo, Egypt. It is believed to have been built in the 9th century AD, possibly on the site of a former Jewish temple dating back to the time of Moses.

The Khan El Khalili Bazaar is a historic market in Cairo, Egypt, that was built around 970 AD and is still in use today. It is a popular tourist destination that showcases the beauty and refinement of early Islamic civilization. 

After a busy morning of shopping, you'll make a pit stop for lunch at a neighboring eatery to sample some of Egypt's delicious cuisine. Afterward, you'll be transported to your luxurious five-star hotel in Cairo,

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, your Cairo Top Tours guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the airport, where you'll board a direct flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you'll embark on a Nile cruise, and your first stop will be the Temple of Karnak. This ancient temple complex is considered to be the origin of ancient Egyptian religion and was a place of worship for a variety of gods for over 1500 years. The temple's remarkable architecture, ornate columns, and hieroglyphic inscriptions are a testament to the advanced engineering and artistry of ancient Egypt. 

After lunch, you'll return to your Nile cruise and spend the afternoon and evening exploring the ancient city of Luxor. Your next stop will be the Luxor Temple, which is a stunning example of ancient Egyptian architecture and design. The temple's elaborate ornamentation and pillars appear even more beautiful at night when the moon illuminates the entire building. The temple is dedicated to Amun, a significant god in Egyptian mythology, and is a symbol of the return of regal authority.After a fascinating day of exploration, you'll return to your Nile cruise to spend the night and prepare for more adventures in the days ahead.

 

After enjoying a delicious breakfast on board your Nile cruise, your Cairo Top Tours guide will accompany you to some of Luxor's most spectacular tourist destinations. 

Your first stop will be the Valley of the Kings, which serves as the final resting place for some of Egypt's most famous kings and queens. The valley is home to 63 tombs, including those of pharaohs such as Ramses, Amenhotep, Hatshepsut, and Tutankhamun. 

The tomb of Tutankhamun is one of the most popular tombs among visitors, attracting more visitors than any other tomb except for Ramses the Great. The Valley of the Kings was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, and it continues to be a popular destination for tourists from all over the world. 

Next, you'll visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, which is dedicated to one of the most illustrious kings of ancient Egypt, Queen Hatshepsut. The temple is also known as Djoser-"Holy Djeseru's of Holies" and was completed in 1479 BC during the New Kingdom. 

Finally, you'll visit the Colossi of Memnon, which are two massive statues that were modeled after Pharaoh Amenhotep III. The statues were destroyed by an earthquake in 27 BC and were reconstructed in 199 AD..

After a busy morning of exploration, you'll return to your Nile cruise for lunch and spend the rest of the day relaxing onboard as you sail along the Nile River.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast on your Nile cruise, your Cairo Top Tours guide will take you to visit the Kom Ombo Temple, which was built between 205 and 180 BC during the reign of Ptolemy V. 

Next, you'll visit the Edfu Temple, which was one of the last temples built for the sky god Horus between 237 BC and 57 BC. The temple is where Horus defeated the wicked deity Set, according to the Osiris Myth. 

In Aswan, your first stop will be the High Dam, which was built between 1960 and 1970 to better manage Nile floods, generate hydroelectricity, and increase water storage for agriculture. 

Next, you'll visit the incomplete obelisk at the entrance to the Karnak temple, which was erected by Queen Hatshepsut. The obelisk, known as "Tekhenu," would have weighed 1200 tonnes and stood 42 meters tall if it had been completed.

Your last stop in Aswan will be the Temple of Philae, which was moved to the island of Agilkia in the 1960s as part of a rescue operation coordinated by UNESCO.

 After lunch, you'll return to your Nile cruise before moving on to Aswan, the city of the eternal light, for more adventures and exploration. 

You'll meet your tour guide after breakfast and head to the Abu Simbel temples, also known as the "Temple of Ramesses, prized by Amun." Ramses the Great built this temple between 1279-1213 BCE, and it's been a source of wonder ever since.

 After visiting the temples, you'll be taken back to Aswan, where you can spend the night on a Nile cruise or explore the city's other attractions like the Nubian Museum or the Unfinished Obelisk Gardens. 

After having breakfast, you'll need to check out from your accommodation before we pick you up for your trip back to Cairo. Once you arrive in Cairo, you'll meet with your tour guide who will take you to your hotel. 

A representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo, and you'll travel comfortably in a private van for 105 kilometers southwest to reach Fayoum. Upon arriving in the arid Fayoum Oasis, you'll visit Quaroun Lake to observe the birds and explore the Fayoum Museum, which houses a collection of sculptures and Roman portraits providing insight into the ancient city of Karanis. Next, you'll head to Wadi Al Rayan Water Falls, located in the western desert depression of Wadi El Rayan, which is 42 meters below sea level. These waterfalls may be the only ones in all of Egypt, and they were formed due to an overflow of drainage water from the Fayoum farmlands. You can also enjoy sandboarding in Fayoum, followed by a late lunch at a fine dining establishment.  After lunch, you'll be transferred back to Cairo to conclude the tour. The distance between Cairo and Fayoum is about 95 kilometers. 

On the last day of your 10-day cultural tour, a representative will pick you up from your Cairo hotel. You'll have a farewell breakfast before being transferred to the Cairo airport to catch your flight back home with fond memories of your trip.
